چکیده

In this article a novel, sensitive and selective cathodic adsorptive stripping procedure is reported for determining of lead. The method is based on adsorptive accumulation of PbN-Nitrozo-N-Phenylhydroxylamine on a hanging mercury drop electrode, followed by the reduction of adsorbed specie by voltammetric scan while followed differential pulse modulation. The optimum conditions for analysis of lead include pH, 7.0, (borate buffer), 9.0×10 M N-Nitrozo-N-Phenylhydroxylamine, accumulation potential of -0.1 V, (versus Ag/AgCl). The 4 peak current is proportional to the concentration of lead over the entire concentration range tested (0.7-175 ng/ml) with a low detection limit of 0.1 ng/ml for an accumulation time of 150 s. The method was applied to determination of lead in blood serum samples with satisfactory results.

Development of electrochemical aptasensor based on gold nanorod and its application for detection of aflatoxin B1 in rice and blood serum sample

Aflatoxins are a group of fungal mycotoxins produced mainly by molds, e.g. Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus. Among Aflatoxins, Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is the most toxic. Therefore, there is a prompt need for determination of AFB1 in food products. This paper reports an electrochemical aptasensor for accurate determination of AFB1, which was constructed by the using gold nanorod sensin...

Voltammetric Investigation of Thioridazine Using a Carbon Nanocomposite Electrode in Human Biological Samples

An electrochemical method employing a carbon nanocomposite electrode was developed to measure thioridazine. The electrode has been designed by incorporation of montmorillonite nanoclay into the carbon ionic liquid electrode. Surface morphology of the electrodes was done using scanning electron microscopy. Adsorptive stripping voltammetry was applied as a very sensitive analytical method for...

Simultaneous Adsorptive Stripping Differential Pulse Voltammetric Measurements of Trace Lead, Cadmium and Nickel in the Presence of 2-aminobenzoic Acid

In this study, 2-aminobenzoic acid (ABA) has been used as complexing ligand for simultaneousdetermination of metal ions by adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry (AdCSV), for the firsttime. Thus, a selective and sensitive procedure was presented for simultaneous determination oflead, cadmium and nickel using ABA and differential pulse-adsorptive cathodic strippingvolt...
